ten - foot vs ten - feet : which one is correct ?
■ यदि कोई noun और number hyphen(-) से जुड़कर आए तो noun हमेशा singular form में प्रयुक्त होती है|
Ex- ● A one -hundred rupee note
● A one-rupee note
● Two ten- rupee notes
● A hundred-student class
Example
■ He fell from / ten - feet high wall / yesterday / no error .
Correct Sent. He fell from / ten - foot high wall / yesterday / no error.
Reason - ten , feet hyphen से जुड़ कर आया है इसलिए feet की जगह foot आएगा|
