■ यदि दो अभिव्यक्ति यां expressions, and से जुड़कर आए और दोनों के पहले article , the का प्रयोग हो तो noun , singular form में तथा एक ही के पहले article , the आए तो noun , plural form  में प्रयोग होती है|

     The fourth and fifth chapters.
