Iswaran the Storyteller
This chapter is about a storyteller person iswaran who lived with author name mahender who is narrating various stories and listening experiences from iswaran who is also his cook and has exceptional talent of growing vegetables in odd conditions. He cooks delicious food and also other household work for him like washing clothes and arranging things at home. Ishwaran remains with him wherever mahender goes for work.
यह अध्याय एक कहानीकार व्यक्ति ईश्वरन के बारे में है, जो लेखक नाम महेंद्र के साथ रहता था, जो ईश्वरन से विभिन्न कहानियाँ और सुनने के अनुभव सुना रहा है, जो उसका रसोइया भी है और विषम परिस्थितियों में सब्जियां उगाने की असाधारण प्रतिभा है। वह स्वादिष्ट खाना बनाती है और उसके लिए घर के अन्य काम जैसे कपड़े धोना और घर पर चीजों की व्यवस्था करना। महेंद्र जहां भी काम के लिए जाता है वहां ईश्वरन उसके साथ रहता है।
Iswaran is a great story teller and he tells small incidents with great conviction. He got this skill from Tamil thriller books. Mahendra narrated 3 incidents which he listened from ishwaran :
ईश्वरन एक महान कहानीकार हैं और वे छोटी-छोटी घटनाओं को बड़े विश्वास के साथ बताते हैं, उन्हें यह कौशल तमिल थ्रिलर किताबों से मिला है। महेन्द्र ने ईश्वरन से सुनी हुई 3 घटनाएँ सुनाईं :
First how ishwaran describes an uprooted tree on the highway like he was walking on deserted road. Suddenly he found an enormous beast lying on the road so his eyebrows got uplifted and hands out in a dramatic gesture, when he got close it was a fallen tree.
सबसे पहले ईश्वरन ने हाईवे पर एक उखड़े हुए पेड़ का वर्णन कैसे किया जैसे वह सुनसान सड़क पर चल रहा था। अचानक उसे सड़क पर एक विशाल जानवर पड़ा हुआ मिला, तो उसकी भौंहें ऊपर उठ गईं और एक नाटकीय इशारे में हाथ बाहर निकाल दिया, जब वह पास गया तो वह एक गिरा हुआ पेड़ था।
The other story was from his school time and place to which he belongs. It is a place famous for firewood and one day an elephant went mad in the wild and it came out on the outskirts of his city where the elephant destroyed everything in its path. Tax devastation. Entering the school premises where Easwaran studied, everyone went to the terrace to save themselves. The elephants destroyed the water tank and tore the nets of football and volleyball. Easwaran then told how he faced the elephant with great courage and scared the mad elephant from himself.
hउसके स्कूल के समय की दूसरी कहानी जहां से वह संबंधित है, यह लकड़ी की लकड़ी के लिए प्रसिद्ध जगह है और एक दिन एक हाथी जंगली में पागल हो गया और यह उसके शहर के बाहरी इलाके में निकला जहां हाथी ने अपने रास्ते में सब कुछ नष्ट कर तबाही मचाई। स्कूल परिसर में प्रवेश किया जहां ईश्वरन पढ़ता था, सभी खुद को बचाने के लिए छत पर चले गए। हाथियों ने पानी की टंकी को नष्ट कर दिया और फुटबॉल और वॉलीबॉल के जाल फाड़ दिए। तब ईश्वरन ने बताया कि कैसे उसने उस हाथी का बहुत साहस से सामना किया और पागल हाथी को अपने से डरा दिया।
Mahendra said he loves to listen to all stories of ishwaran whether they are true or hypothetical due to his storytelling style.
महेंद्र ने कहा कि वह ईश्वरन की सभी कहानियों को सुनना पसंद करते हैं, चाहे वे सत्य हों या काल्पनिक, उनकी कहानी कहने की शैली के कारण।
Last incident was a bit scary for mahindra because ishwaran told Mahendra that the place where they both are living is haunted. He sees human skulls and bones every other day plus at every full moon he sees a woman with matted hair and a shrivelled face, like a skeleton holding a foetus in its arms.`` It made Mahendra very scared that on one night full moon he got badly scared from a cat's voice that he thought it was something else and then he calmed himself by thinking it is his subconscious mind working. Next day when ishwaran tried to explain again last night's incident, mahender didn't listen to it and left that haunted place after some days.
पिछली घटना महिंद्रा के लिए थोड़ी डरावनी थी क्योंकि ईश्वरन ने महेंद्र से कहा कि जिस जगह पर वे दोनों रह रहे हैं वह भूतिया है। वह हर दूसरे दिन मानव खोपड़ी और हड्डियों को देखता है, साथ ही हर पूर्णिमा पर वह एक महिला को उलझा हुआ बाल और एक सिकुड़ा हुआ चेहरा देखता है, जैसे कंकाल अपनी बाहों में एक भ्रूण को पकड़े हुए है। 'इससे महेंद्र को बहुत डर लगा कि एक रात पूर्णिमा को वह एक बिल्ली की आवाज से बुरी तरह डर गया कि उसे लगा कि यह कुछ और है और फिर उसने यह सोचकर खुद को शांत किया कि यह उसका अवचेतन मन काम कर रहा है। अगले दिन जब ईश्वरन ने कल रात की घटना को फिर से समझाने की कोशिश की, तो महेंद्र ने एक नहीं सुना और कुछ दिनों के बाद उस प्रेतवाधित स्थान को छोड़ दिया।
Q1- In what way is Ishwaran an asset to Mahendra
Ans 1-Mahendra not only cooks food,grows vegetables in no where,takes care of ishwaran and household work but he is like a friend and entertainer for him, who narrates various interesting stories with his great style, so ishwaran doesn't require tv for entertainment.

Ans 3- he narrated the story of tusker like a thriller movie wherein he wants to portray himself as a hero who stopped and scared the elephant while elephant was villain who destroyed many things.

It's all because Iswaran read the Tamil author books and magazines, so these have a complete influence on him.

Ans 6- this ending is good but one another ending was also possible, where Mahendra can find the reason for all these things. But he had a full time job so after a whole day of work, he needs to find extra time and moreover courage for this.
