The idiot king
This is the story of a kingdom which is headed by an idiot king and idiot minister. They both were fool and stupid and take abnormal decisions and make out of world rules.
यह एक ऐसे राज्य की कहानी है जिसका नेतृत्व एक बेवकूफ राजा और बेवकूफ मंत्री करते हैं। वे दोनों मूर्ख और मूर्ख थे और असामान्य निर्णय लेते थे और दुनिया के नियमों से बाहर होते थे।
Onces they made a law to declare everyone in the kingdom to decide to change night into day and day into night. They ordered that everyone should be awake at night, plough their fields and run their businesses, only after dark they all go to bed as soon as the sun came up. If anyone defies this routine they will get the death sentence.
एक बार उन्होंने राज्य में सभी को रात को दिन और दिन को रात में बदलने का फैसला करने के लिए घोषित करने का कानून बनाया। उन्होंने आदेश दिया कि सभी को रात में जागना चाहिए, अपने खेतों तक और अंधेरा होने के बाद ही अपना व्यवसाय चलाना चाहिए, और सूरज उगते ही बिस्तर पर जाना चाहिए। अगर कोई इस दिनचर्या की अवहेलना करता है तो उसे मौत की सजा मिलेगी।
One day a guru with his disciple arrived in town in the morning, they were hungry and they found no, one wake in the city it was silent and empty. They were amazed to see by the end of day everyone was awake and the city got busy with people and the market opened.
एक दिन सुबह एक गुरु अपने शिष्य के साथ शहर में पहुंचे, वे भूखे थे और उन्हें नहीं मिला, शहर में एक भी जागना खामोश और खाली था। वे यह देखकर चकित रह गए कि दिन के अंत तक हर कोई जाग रहा था और शहर लोगों से व्यस्त हो गया और बाजार खुल गया।
As they were hungry they bought some groceries. To their astonishment, they found that everything cost the same, a single duddu — whether they bought a measure of rice or a bunch of bananas, it cost a duddu. The guru and his disciple were delighted. They had never heard of anything like this. They could buy all the food they wanted for a rupee.
भूख लगने पर उन्होंने कुछ किराने का सामान खरीदा। उनके आश्चर्य के लिए, उन्होंने पाया कि सब कुछ समान है, एक डूडू - चाहे उन्होंने चावल या केले का एक गुच्छा खरीदा, इसकी कीमत एक डूडू थी। गुरु और उनके शिष्य प्रसन्न हुए। उन्होंने कभी ऐसा कुछ नहीं सुना था। वे एक रुपये में अपनी जरूरत का सारा खाना खरीद सकते थे।
After eating food and thinking Guru told the disciple to leave this place because this place is led by fools and it is not safe to be here as the king and his minister can do and decide anything. Due to availability of everything in a single duddu his disciple wanted to stay here and requested him to do the same but guru neglected and left the city.
खाना खाने और सोचने के बाद गुरु ने शिष्य से कहा कि इस जगह को छोड़ दो क्योंकि यह जगह मूर्खों के नेतृत्व में है और यहां रहना सुरक्षित नहीं है क्योंकि राजा और उनके मंत्री कुछ भी कर सकते हैं और तय कर सकते हैं। एक ही डूडू में सब कुछ उपलब्ध होने के कारण उनका शिष्य यहाँ रहना चाहता था और उनसे भी ऐसा ही करने का अनुरोध किया लेकिन गुरु ने उपेक्षा की और शहर छोड़ दिया।
The disciple stayed and ate tummy full food every day — bananas and ghee and rice and wheat, and grew fat like a street-side sacred bull. Then one day a thief broke into a rich merchant' house to steal but a wall fell on him and he died on the spot.
शिष्य रुका रहा, प्रतिदिन भरपेट खाया - केला और घी और चावल और गेहूं, और सड़क के किनारे पवित्र बैल की तरह मोटा हो गया। फिर एक दिन एक चोर एक अमीर व्यापारी के घर में चोरी करने के लिए घुसा, लेकिन दीवार उस पर गिर गई और उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
Then the thief's brother went to the king for justice for his brother i.e he died because the wall was weak in the merchant's house because of his misery he didn't construct a strong house.
तब चोर का भाई राजा के पास अपने भाई को न्याय दिलाने के लिए गया अर्थात उसकी मृत्यु हो गई क्योंकि व्यापारी के घर में दीवार कमजोर थी क्योंकि उसके दुख के कारण उसने एक मजबूत घर नहीं बनाया था।
King ordered to catch the merchant for punishment, but merchant said house was built in his father's time and bricklayer is alive who didn't performed his job well, wall fell and thief died then king ordered to execute the bricklayer.
राजा ने व्यापारी को सजा के लिए पकड़ने का आदेश दिया, लेकिन व्यापारी ने कहा कि घर उसके पिता के समय में बनाया गया था और ईंट बनाने वाला जीवित है जिसने अपना काम अच्छी तरह से नहीं किया, दीवार गिर गई और चोर की मृत्यु हो गई तो राजा ने ईंट बनाने वाले को मारने का आदेश दिया।
Now the bricklayer pleaded that he was not able to do his job because of a dancer girl, who was going up and down from the street all day with her anklets jingling, and I couldn’t keep my eyes or my mind on the wall. After listening this king again decided to execute that dancer girl who was alive and grown old then dancer girl accused a jeweller for her moments on that day who refused to give her jewellery piece on time.
अब ईंट बनाने वाले ने निवेदन किया कि वह अपना काम नहीं कर पा रहा है क्योंकि एक नर्तकी लड़की दिन भर उस गली में अपनी पायल झनझनाती रहती है, और मैं अपनी आँखें या अपना दिमाग दीवार पर नहीं रख सकता। यह सुनने के बाद राजा ने फिर से उस नर्तकी लड़की को मारने का फैसला किया जो जीवित थी और बूढ़ी हो गई थी, तो नर्तक लड़की ने उस दिन एक जौहरी पर अपने पलों के लिए आरोप लगाया जिसने उसे समय पर आभूषण का टुकड़ा देने से इनकार कर दिया।
Now again the king order to execute that jeweller, then jeweller accused a rich merchant who asked his jewellery order delivered first, due to upcoming wedding in his house. Eventually that rich man was the owner of the same house under which the fallen wall, the thief got killed.
Then the king and his minister decide whether the merchant was the father of the person but he has to pay for the sin of his father. At last the king gave the order to execute the owner of the house, now he ordered a new stake to be made ready for the execution. As the servants sharpened the stake the minister realised that the rich merchant was somehow too thin to be properly executed on the stake.
अब फिर राजा ने उस जौहरी को फाँसी देने का आदेश दिया, तो जौहरी ने एक अमीर व्यापारी पर आरोप लगाया कि उसने अपने घर में होने वाली शादी के कारण पहले उसके आभूषणों का ऑर्डर दिया। आखिरकार वह धनी आदमी उसी घर का मालिक था जिसके नीचे गिरी दीवार चोर को मार दी गई।
तब राजा और उसका मंत्री तय करते हैं कि क्या व्यापारी व्यक्ति का पिता था, लेकिन उसे अपने पिता के पाप के लिए भुगतान करना होगा। अंत में राजा ने घर के मालिक को फांसी देने का आदेश दिया, अब उसने फांसी के लिए एक नया दांव तैयार करने का आदेश दिया। जैसे ही नौकरों ने दांव तेज किया, मंत्री ने महसूस किया कि अमीर व्यापारी किसी भी तरह से इतना पतला था कि उसे ठीक से दांव पर नहीं लगाया जा सकता था।
He told this to the king then ordered to find a man fat enough to fit the stake. Their eyes fell on the disciple who had fattened himself for months on bananas and rice and wheat and ghee. Now the disciple remembered the saying of his guru- This is a city of fools. You don’t know what they will do next.
Now the disciple started praying from his heart to his guru that he would come and save his life after. As Guru, he saw everything in vision and he came to reduce his disciple. The Guru told the king to first give death to him instead of his disciple then the king got confused, why the guru was asking for death then Guru told the King Whoever dies on it first will be reborn as the king of this country. And whoever goes next will be the future minister of this country.
उसने यह बात राजा को बताई और फिर आदेश दिया कि वह एक मोटा आदमी ढूंढ़ ले जो काठ पर फिट हो सके। उनकी नज़र उस शिष्य पर पड़ी जो महीनों से केले और चावल और गेहूँ और घी से मोटा था। अब शिष्य को अपने गुरु की यह बात याद आई- यह मूर्खों का शहर है। आप नहीं जानते कि वे आगे क्या करेंगे।
अब शिष्य मन ही मन अपने गुरु से प्रार्थना करने लगा कि वह आकर अपनी जान बचा ले। गुरु के रूप में उन्होंने सब कुछ दृष्टि में देखा और वे अपने शिष्य को कम करने आए। गुरु ने राजा को पहले अपने शिष्य के बजाय मृत्यु के लिए कहा, फिर राजा भ्रमित हो गया, गुरु मृत्यु क्यों मांग रहा था तो गुरु ने राजा से कहा कि जो भी इस पर मरेगा वह इस देश के राजा के रूप में पुनर्जन्म लेगा। और जो आगे जाएगा वह इस देश का भावी मंत्री होगा।
After listening to the Guru, the king was now thrown into deep thought. He didn’t want to lose the kingdom to someone else in the next round of life. So the king and his minister decided afterthought to stake themselves and they’ll be reborn as king and minister again. Holy men do not tell lies,”
That night, the king and his minister went secretly to the prison, released the guru and the disciple, disguised themselves as the two, and got executed. the people of the city panicked. They saw before them the dead bodies of the king and the minister. The city was in confusion.
गुरु की बात सुनकर राजा अब गहरे विचार में डूबा हुआ था। वह जीवन के अगले दौर में राज्य को किसी और के हाथों खोना नहीं चाहता था। इसलिए राजा और उसके मंत्री ने खुद को दांव पर लगाने का फैसला किया और वे फिर से राजा और मंत्री के रूप में पुनर्जन्म लेंगे। पवित्र पुरुष झूठ नहीं बोलते, ”
उस रात, राजा और उसका मंत्री गुप्त रूप से जेल गए, गुरु और शिष्य को रिहा कर दिया, खुद को दोनों के रूप में प्रच्छन्न कर दिया, और उन्हें मार डाला गया। लोग घबरा गए। उन्होंने अपने सामने राजा और मंत्री के शव देखे। शहर असमंजस में था।
They begged the guru and the disciple to be their king and their minister. It took longer to persuade the guru. They finally agreed to rule the kingdom of the foolish king and the silly minister, on the condition that they could change all the old laws.
After that everything has changed there.
उन्होंने गुरु और शिष्य से अपने राजा और उनके मंत्री बनने की भीख मांगी। गुरु को समझाने में अधिक समय लगा। वे अंततः मूर्ख राजा और मूर्ख मंत्री के राज्य पर शासन करने के लिए सहमत हुए, इस शर्त पर कि वे सभी पुराने कानूनों को बदल सकते हैं।
उसके बाद वहां सब कुछ बदल गया है।

Rich merchant- due to a weak wall which took the life of a thief.
Wall maker- rich merchant accused bricklayer to construct weak wall.
Dancer girl- wall maker held responsible for making weak walls due to dancer girl who was coming and going whole day with the sound of anklets jingling diverted his concentration.
Jeweler- dancing girl accused jeweler for her moments on that day. He refuses to give her jewelry on time.
4-Who is the real culprit according to the king? Why does he escape punishment?
Ans4- According to king, merchant was real culprit because his house's wall was fell on thief and because of his father wall was constructed weak.
He eascaped from punishment, the stakes built for his execution were mistakenly made for fat person and merchant was thin to fit in stakes.
5-How does the guru manage to save his disciple’s life?
Ans- The Guru told the king to execute him first for death instead of his disciple then the king got confused, why the guru was asking for death then Guru told to the King,Whoever dies on it first will be reborn as the king of this country. And whoever goes next will be the future minister of this country.
Then king and minister decide to get execute themselves in place of disciple and the guru to reborn again as king and minister.

When disciple got death sentence due to his weight then he remembered his guru's words.
