There was a farmer who lived with his wife and small son in the village. One day a farmer thought and told his wife they should keep a pet with them, so that their child will have a good companion and then they brought a baby mongoose for the baby.
गांव में एक किसान था जो अपनी पत्नी और छोटे बेटे के साथ रहता था। एक दिन एक किसान ने सोचा और अपनी पत्नी से कहा कि उन्हें अपने साथ एक पालतू जानवर रखना चाहिए, ताकि उनके बच्चे को एक अच्छा साथी मिले, फिर वे बच्चे के लिए एक नेवला लाए।
Within six months the baby mongoose became a full grown adult but the child is still in the cradle.On one fine day farmer's wife need to go market for buying vegetables and groceries and she asked farmer to take care of baby as she has doubt on mongoose but farmer ignored and gone with his friends to field.
छह महीने के भीतर नेवला पूर्ण वयस्क हो गया लेकिन बच्चा अभी भी पालने में है। एक अच्छे दिन किसान की पत्नी को सब्जियां और किराने का सामान खरीदने के लिए बाजार जाना पड़ता है और उसने किसान से बच्चे की देखभाल करने के लिए कहा क्योंकि उसे नेवले पर संदेह है लेकिन किसान ने ध्यान नहीं दिया और अपने दोस्तों के साथ खेत में चला गया।
When wife came back from market she saw mongoose mouth is soaked in blood and she got shocked and thought, mongoose killed the baby, so blind in anger she threw her heavy bag full of groceries and vegetables on mongoose and ran inside to see her baby. But she saw a dead snake there and she realised the mongoose saved her baby from the snake. That's why he soaked in the blood and she made the big mistake of killing a mongoose by throwing a heavy bag on him.
जब पत्नी बाजार से वापस आई तो उसने देखा कि नेवले का मुंह खून से लथपथ है और वह चौंक गई और सोचा, नेवले ने बच्चे को मार डाला, इतने अंधे गुस्से में उसने किराने का सामान और सब्जियों से भरा अपना भारी बैग नेवले पर फेंक दिया और अपने बच्चे को देखने के लिए अंदर भाग गई। लेकिन उसने वहां एक मरा हुआ सांप देखा और उसने महसूस किया कि नेवले ने उसके बच्चे को सांप से बचा लिया। इसलिए वह खून से लथपथ हो गया और उसने एक भारी बैग फेंककर एक नेवले को मारने की बड़ी गलती की।
